HOW IT WORKS
We have convenient locations for you to choose from in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice. Pick-up times are Thursdays generally between 1:00pm - 4pm (see each location for specific times) with slightly longer hours at our downtown Sarasota location. Click here to see current locations.
And for anyone Staying Home we have Home Doorstep Delivery of your Green Door baskets (delivery fee applies).. Check with us to see if your address falls within our delivery area.
The food comes in our custom made Green Door Green Bags, designed to keep your food Fresh and your Greens from wilting. The special material keeps the air out, while still being breathable, and the thermal lining keeps your produce cool in your office or workplace until you get it home. Wide double-stitched straps go easily over your shoulder, as the produce filled bags are often heavy. Every week, you bring back your clean empty bag and exchange it for a full one.
Each week you will get a different selection of Fresh, Certified Organic Fruits, Vegetables, and Leafy Greens with fresh herbs like garlic, ginger, parsley, etc. once or twice a month. We fill your orders with as much local and Florida grown certified organic produce as we can, based on season and availability, so there is a lot of variety.
FLEXIBILITY
At Green Door Organics you have complete Flexibility!
Billing is monthly so NO long term contracts. You can start and stop as needed, and skip any week if you're going out of town. Each member pays a small monthly co-op fee, so whether you're a seasonal, or year round resident, you only pay for the months you use our service.
Whether you have food allergies, have certain food restrictions, or have a few likes and dislikes, If there is an item of food in your basket that you do not want, we have it covered. Simply email with your request and we'll switch it out for another food choice so you're not stuck with something you know you will not use.
Our customers vary from students to singles to families to retirees. Some are vegetarians, some are vegans, some juice, some follow a raw live foods lifestyle, but All are simply interested in fresh, non-GMO, Certified Organic, pesticide-free, flavorful food.
For many, this is a new way of cooking and eating. We post simple healthy recipes coordinated with that week's selection each week, so you can discover how simple it is to make more foods “from scratch” at home. You'll get to try new foods and ways of preparing them, so you can feel good, have more energy, and enjoy eating healthy within your budget.
